Day Two of whirlwind book tour. After staying overnight in ELY, NV, we pushed on into the desert. We stopped again throughout the book, seeing where the trail went. Making our way back home, the second half of our circle trip. We visited North Knoll Spring (page 182) and Tule Valley. Cool scenery. Like you are on the moon. Alkali flats, 3 miles wide Captain Simpson said, (page 185). Everything was going fine!! Then we had some tire issues, alas, we must cut our trip a little short. That's OK.
